The people who turn up with the right battery — and the right tools

We are a small, independent team based in Rabdan, Abu Dhabi. We are not a dealership, a franchise or an insurer, and we are not affiliated with any vehicle or battery manufacturer.

We are also not a call centre that takes your details and passes them to whoever is nearest. The person who answers the phone is the person who arranges the job, and we stay responsible for it from the first call until the car is back with you.

Batteries are still our core trade, and we do them properly:

• Battery and alternator test — a free health check on every battery callout, so you find out whether the battery is dying or the charging system is at fault before you pay for anything.
• Battery replacement on the spot — standard, EFB and AGM, fitted and coded where you stand, with a minimum 12-month warranty.
• Jump start — a surge-protected, ECU-safe boost for any car, SUV or hybrid, when the battery still has life in it.
• Recycling — we take the old battery away with us. Nothing is left in your parking bay.

A flat battery is not the only thing that strands a car, so we now offer garage services across Abu Dhabi as well. You will find them all on our car garage services page. How each job is done depends on what it needs:

• At your car — roadside assistance, flat tyre changes and puncture repair, oil changes, AC gas refilling, brake pads, basic maintenance, car detailing, minor scratch repair and pre-purchase inspections.
• In a workshop — engine, gearbox and transmission repair, clutch replacement, suspension repair, wheel alignment, body and paint, paint repair and major AC repair. Where we can, we diagnose the fault at your car first, then collect the car, do the work in the workshop and bring it back.
• Towing and recovery — by flatbed truck, to a workshop, your home or wherever you choose, when the car cannot be driven.

We cover 15 zones across Abu Dhabi, from our base in Rabdan. If you are outside our usual run we will say so on the call, along with what it would cost and how long it would take, rather than quietly adding an hour to the estimate.

There is no app to download and no form to complete first:

• You call or send a location pin on a messaging app.
• We ask what the car is doing, what make and model it is, and exactly where it is parked.
• We tell you whether the job can be done at the car or needs a workshop, give you an arrival estimate, and dispatch the nearest technician or truck.
• The technician checks the car and tells you what they found, with a price for the work.
• Nothing chargeable starts until you have agreed the price — and if we find something else once the job is under way, we stop and ask before going further.

Arrival times we quote are honest estimates, not guarantees — traffic and demand are what they are. If we are going to be late, we would rather ring you than let you wonder.

You hear the price before any chargeable work begins, and you can say no. For bigger jobs you get the estimate in writing or by message. The battery and alternator test is free whether or not you buy anything from us, and a technician who finds that your battery is fine will tell you that.

We take cash, card, Apple Pay and buy-now-pay-later options, so a breakdown at the wrong end of the month does not have to become a bigger problem than it already is.

We will not sell you work you do not need. Plenty of no-start faults are not battery faults — a starter motor, an immobiliser, a fuel problem — and plenty of warning lights have a cheaper cause than the worst case. When that is what we find, we say so.

We will not pretend a heavy repair can be done properly at the roadside. If a job needs a lift, special tools or a clean workshop, we will tell you, and the car goes to the workshop instead of being patched where it stands.

Batteries carry real current and real acid, and cars on a roadside sit next to real traffic. Our technicians use surge-protected equipment that is safe for modern start-stop and hybrid electronics, and they will decline a job where the battery is leaking, swollen or damaged, or where the location itself is not safe to work in. If that happens we will tell you why and what the safer option is — which may be moving the car first.
